The global halon processing plant was established with the aim of recovering, recycling and reclamation of halon reserves located in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East region, where it is the only one in the Arabian Gulf that possesses the technology of recycling halon gas and the factory is characterized by the availability of expertise to provide Technical assistance at high levels in the field of halon gas reprocessing.
The world’s halon processing plant has specialized laboratories to conduct testing, testing and analysis of halon gas and many other cooling gases.
The halon processing plant also features international ISO 1-2001, AMERICAN specifications (ASTM 94-5632) and MIL M-12218-C standard specifications. The Global Halon Treatment Plant is testing the integrated chamber for all types of gas fire systems.
The plant is mainly aimed at protecting the environment from the emissions of halon and other refrigerants. The plant is also involved in the development research sector, where the Research and Development Department of the Global Halon Processing Plant has successfully carried out treatment and repair procedures for many of the coolant gases that have been banned.
The plant also processes other cooling gases such as R22, R12, R500, R-134A, saudi Aramco AR700 and Aramco GI 425,000.
Due to the global ban on halon gas production under the Montreal Protocol, the plant has begun to look for alternative halon gas to meet customer requirements, and the plant has provided alternative halogas such as NOVEC 1230 and FM 200.
In addition to recycling the halon gas needs in existing fire fighting systems.
Our only company in the Kingdom accredited by the Presidency of Meteorology & Environment - PME is to store and recycle halon and we have the only system in the Middle East to play the role.
